Maloo’s Gourmet is a vibrant and user-friendly website developed for a homegrown brand based in Coimbatore, known for its authentic South Indian-style homemade pickles and thokku. Established during the 2020 lockdown, Maloo’s Gourmet quickly gained popularity for its commitment to quality, using hand-picked vegetables and traditional recipes. The goal of this project was to create a digital platform that reflects the brand’s homemade essence while making it easy for customers to explore and purchase products online.
The website was built using the Bootstrap framework for a responsive, mobile-friendly design and Laravel for a robust and scalable backend. A custom-built admin panel is a key feature, enabling the client to manage core website settings, handle contact and career enquiry forms, post and update blog content, and review and process job applications. Although originally designed for real estate listings, the admin panel's project management module was repurposed to organize product listings into current, seasonal, and upcoming items, providing flexibility and better inventory control.
The site offers a smooth user experience with intuitive navigation, engaging visuals, and streamlined purchase and inquiry flows. For the client, the solution simplifies content management and enhances operational efficiency, allowing them to keep their offerings fresh and relevant. For users, it delivers a warm, reliable, and accessible platform to enjoy Maloo’s gourmet creations with ease
